ASCENT

Before Operating, Please Take Note:

• Make sure no obstacles are in the desk's path.
• Make sure that the desktop is not touching any walls.
• Make sure all cords are of appropriate length to accommodate the change in height.

It is highly recommended to RESET the desk prior to use.

How to Reset My Omnidesk Ascent?

• Press and hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height.
• Release the DOWN button
• Press and hold the DOWN button again till the LED display reads "Reset"
• Release the DOWN button
• Press and hold the DOWN button again until the desk lowers a little bit more, slightly rises and stops.
• Release the DOWN button. Your desk is now ready to use.

If your desk is not functioning properly, you may need to perform the reset.

Set the Height That is Shown on The LED Display?

• Hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height.
• Release the DOWN button
• Measure the distance from your floor to the top surface of the desk. If the number on the LED display does NOT match your measurement, you can change the number following these steps:

• Hold the DOWN button until the desk reaches the lowest height.
• Press and hold the DOWN button again till the LED display reads "Reset"
• Press and hold the "LOGO" button (for about 5 seconds) till the LED number display is blinking. 
• Use the up/down button to change the value of the starting height till it matches your measurement.
• Wait about 5 seconds until the display return to "Reset"
• Finish the reset process by pressing and holding the DOWN button again until the desk lowers a little bit more, slightly rises and stops. Then release the button.

How to use the Ascent controller?

To enter the Menu, hold the icon button.
• Use the UP / DOWN buttons to scroll through the Menu.
• Press the icon button once more to confirm selection.

There are 8 functions that can be accessed via the Ascent controller menu.
1. Reminders
Set intervals to receive reminders in increments of 5 minutes, from a range between 10 - 90 mins. The controller will vibrate when the timer is up and restarts again until reminders are turned off. Select OFF to disable standing reminders.
*Height adjustments made when reminders are on will restart the timer.

2. Maximum/Minimum Height Limit (Prevents collision with objects/ structures above and below your desk by customizing your desk’s height limits).
Maximum Possible Height - 127cm
Adjust your desk to your ideal Maximum height. Go to the Maximum/Minimum Height setting and select Maximum Height to save your maximum height limit.
Minimum Possible Height - 63.7cm
Adjust your desk to your ideal Minimum height. Go to the Maximum/Minimum Height setting and select Minimum Height to save your minimum height limit.
*Select OFF to revert your desk height limits to its default settings.

3. Lock/Unlock
Select Lock to temporarily disable height adjustments on your desk using the UP / DOWN and pre-set memory buttons. Lock function takes effect a couple of seconds after being enabled. Press and hold the menu button to temporarily enable height adjustments.
To remove the lock function, press and hold the menu button to enter the menu where you can select unlock function to gain full access to height adjustments.

4. Controller Vibration Mode
Select the vibration mode of your controller when you receive standing reminders. You may choose between 2 different modes (Light / Strong), or disable the vibration totally.

5. Lighting Theme
Choose the colour of your controller lighting from our selection of 6 beautiful themes.
Combinations: Periwinkle, Sunset, Ocean
Solid: White, Pink, Teal
Select OFF to turn off the lights on your controller.

6. Brightness
Choose from 5 brightness options: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100%

7. Controller Light Auto Dimming
ON -The controller will auto dim. OFF - Controller light will not auto dim.

8. Bluetooth connection
Scan the unique QR code to link your desk to the Omnidesk Life Companion app.
*Maximum 1 device can be linked and will need to be unlinked before another device can be linked via Bluetooth.

Memory Pre-Sets

Adjust your desk to your preferred height.
• Press the icon button followed by the number you would like to save this height to.
• The next time you press this memory pre-set button, the desk will go to the height which you have saved.
• *You may save up to 4 different memory pre-sets on the desk controller.
**We do not recommend you to use the USB Port on the side of the controller to charge any devices.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

If the LED display shows "HOT", let the motor cool down for 20 minutes.

If the LED display shows an error message ("ER1" - "ER13"), ensure that all your wired connections are secure.

All your wired connections should include:
1. Legs to control box for both sides (Including extension cable)
2. Control box to control handset
3. Power cable for the control box

How to Customize The Memory Presets?

Use the UP/DOWN button to find a desired height, then press “M” followed by the number 1-4.

How to use the Handset Lock(Child Lock)?

To lock the handset:
Press and hold the “M” button (about 8 seconds) until the LED display switches to “S-“ and then to “LOC”. Release the button.

To unlock the handset:
Press and hold the “M” button (about 8 seconds) until the LED switches from “LOC” to the height display. Release the button.

Set the Height Upper and Lower Limits?

Make sure the power is ONand a number reads in the LED display
(if no number appears, please follow the Troubleshooting method below)

• To Set the Upper-Limit Position:
  Use the UP/DOWNButtons to move the base to the desired maximum-height position. Press the “M” button and release. Pressthe UPbutton and release. The LED display will flash “S-“. Pressand holdthe “M” button (about 2 seconds) until the LED display changes to “999”. The display will automatically return to the selected height. The new upper limit is now set.
• To Remove the Upper/Lower Limit Positions:
  Pressand holdthe “M” button until the LEDdisplay flashes “S-“ and then release it. Within 5 seconds, press the “M” button again and holdfor 2 seconds. The LED display will change to “555” and then automatically return to the height display. The upper and lower limits are now removed.

Troubleshooting Common Issues:

Frequently Asked Questions

• Misalignment of desk frame while assembly?
  
  Firstly, try to loosen out the three screws that are screwed onto the frame. Try securing the screw into the hole that you are having issue with aligning it.
  
  When the screws are tightened too much, it may cause the misalignment for the frame.
  
  You will be required to ensure that the screws are properly placed into the screw treading. While using the tools to secure the screw, please kindly note that it has to be screwed straight in. The slanting of screws during installation may cause damage the treading.

• Does the static desk assembly requires any drilling?
  
  It will be required to manually drill one hole for securing the tabletop to the middle desk frame.
  (Do not remove rubber stopper for the middle desk frame)
  Drilling will also be required if you are getting accessories like PC Mount , Mounted Powerbar and Sub woofer mount.
  
  * It is recommended that any required holes need for fasteners be pre-drilled if the desktop is not predrilled. Do not use Countersunk Screws.
  
  * Double-check that the wood screws are not too long for your desktop to avoid puncturing the surface when they are screwed all the way in.
  
• Can static desk be upgraded to an adjustable desk without changing the desk frame?
  
  No, you will be required to change the desk frame to the height adjustable version as our static desk frame is non modular and it is not able to support direct upgrades.
